AKM Consultants, Inc. seeks experienced and licensed (P.E.) for a full-time Project Engineer role in the area of structural evaluation and forensic investigation.

AKM will train for this position, however Applicants must have the following required Occupational Competencies:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer License (Colorado)

Required Foundational Competencies for Applicants:

• Good verbal and written communication
• Good reading and writing comprehension
• Critical thinking and coordination
• Ability to conduct field observations and investigation

Some duties of AKM's Project Engineer role will include:

• Conduct field observations and investigation, perform document review and prepare summaries based on review of project related information in comparison to construction documents, as-built conditions, and applicable building codes
• Research applicable building codes and manufacturer and product/material specifications
• Formulate and prepare written opinion reports based on investigation performed
