AKM Consultants, Inc. seeks experienced, licensed Architect for a full-time Project Architect role in the area of building envelope and forensic investigation.

AKM will train for this position, however Applicants must have the following required/preferred Occupational Competencies:

• Bachelor of Architecture Degree - Required
• Active Architect License (Colorado) - Preferred

Required Foundational Competencies for Applicants:

• Good verbal and written communication
• Good reading and writing comprehension
• Critical thinking and coordination
• Ability to conduct field observations and investigation

Some duties of AKM's Project Architect role will include:

• Conduct field observations and investigation, perform document review and prepare summaries based on review of project related information in comparison to construction documents, as-built conditions, and applicable building codes
• Research applicable building codes and manufacturer and product/material specifications
• Formulate and prepare written opinion reports based on investigation performed
