Mr. John H. Maupin, RA

Project Architect

Mr. Maupin obtained his Bachelor of Architecture Degree at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia and is a Registered Architect in the states of Colorado and Massachusetts. Mr. Maupin also holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certificate.

Mr. Maupin has experience in forensic building envelope investigation of structures including investigation of causation and/or alleged defects for construction defect litigation cases throughout the Denver Metropolitan Area and Colorado. Mr. Maupin has performed building envelope investigations, including intrusive testing to evaluate the performance of building veneer and moisture management systems, investigation of non-performing roof systems, water intrusion systems, and fire-resistive assemblies for numerous structures.

Mr. Maupin’s experience in multiple project types and scopes, such as architectural project management and construction administration for new construction and renovations of commercial and residential building types, includes:

  • Retail, Restaurants and Office Spaces
  • Science Laboratories and Educational/Institutional Facilities
  • Multi-Family Apartments and Duplexes

Mr. Maupin has also performed architectural services for programming, design, document production, and construction coordination for several projects. Some of Mr. Maupin’s responsibilities in these areas have included:

  • Code Review and Model Energy Code Compliance
  • Construction System and Finish Material Selection
  • Architectural Detailing and Project Specification Development

Mr. Maupin also has experience in construction, including:

  • Project Management and Administration
  • Roofing, Rough Carpentry and Welding
  • Window Manufacturing
