Ms. Erickson obtained her Bachelor of Architecture Degree at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas and is a Colorado Registered Architect. Ms. Erickson is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, holds a certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and has a LEED AP Credential from US Green Building Council.
Ms. Erickson has extensive experience in forensic building envelope investigation of residential and commercial structures including investigation of construction defects. These investigations include services such as:
Serving as an expert witness for both Plaintiff and Defendant construction defect cases, Ms. Erickson has provided her expert services at depositions, trials, and arbitrations for numerous cases throughout Colorado.
Ms. Erickson has also provided architectural services for programming and design, construction documents, and construction administration for commercial, retail, restaurant, and office projects.
Some of Ms. Erickson’s expertise in building veneers includes exterior insulation finish system, stucco, masonry, stone, manufactured stone, and metal panel assemblies. In addition, Ms. Erickson has experience with storefront systems, decorative metal and wood awnings, sloped and low slope roof systems, and fire-resistive assemblies.
